Sweet, tasty, fragrant, orange flesh approx. 5cm (2") thick. Can be grown in a glasshouse, tunnel, on a patio, under cloches or in the open ground. Tolerates low temperatures well. Cantaloupe type.
A very good watermelon for our climate, which is early to mature (especially if grown through black plastic), producing large, round, dark green-skinned fruit with sweet red flesh.
